Choosing accessories for your wedding ensemble

Bonnet

With wedding season approaching, we'd like to take a moment to reach out to the beautiful brides and dapper grooms out there. A few thoughtfully chosen accessories can add visual impact and personality to your special day's outfit.  Here are some tips to help you compose the best outfit you'll ever wear ~ and likely, the most photographed!

Take inspiration from some of your favorite everyday outfits. What do you feel most confident in? Decide what about those outfits take it to that extra step. A color that brings out your eyes? A favorite brooch from your grandmother? Look at the little things.

Those little things can easily be incorporated into your wedding day look. Below are some ideas to get you thinking.

If you're drawn to nature-inspired pieces, add an evergreen sprig into your boutonniere or go bold with a floral inspired headpiece.

Royal fascinator, assorted flower clips, and Daphne cloche

If your favorite piece in your wardrobe is a fabulous vintage find, embrace classic styling and accessories. Focus on great tailoring for impeccable fit, and pay attention to the little details.

Frank fedora, Royal fascinators, and Connor panama
.   .   .

If you're more casual and prefer comfort over all else, rustic modern may be a way to describe your wedding style. By taking basics, and upgrading them with carfeully chosen and well-constructed accessories, you can take the look to formal without being fussy.

Luke driver, Royal fascinator, and Kip driver

If you're a romatic at heart, glam up your wedding look. Add some sparkle, don a fabulous modern fascinator, and go for a red lip.

Doris fascinator, Pinwheel rhinestone brooch, Elizabeth gloves, Daisy wide brim stunner
.   .   .

Whatever style is positively 'you', please feel free to stop by the shop or give us a ring to start a conversation about your wedding accessories. We are happy to work with you to design something picture perfect for your big day!
